Terms of Service
The terms that apply to Menu.ceo accounts, trials, subscriptions, menu publishing, and analytics.
1. Overview
Welcome to Menu.ceo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Menu.ceo website, hosted restaurant menus, admin dashboard, analytics, short links, and AI-assisted tools ("Service").
Menu.ceo helps restaurants turn existing menu content into a mobile-friendly online menu, publish and share that menu, and understand which links and channels bring menu visits.
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate and current account, business, and payment information. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the restaurant or business connected to the account.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, limiting team access to authorized people, and all activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
3. Free Trial & Subscriptions
New accounts can start a 14-day free trial with no payment or credit card required. Starting the trial does not create a paid subscription; choose a plan and complete checkout to continue with paid service after the trial.
If you do not purchase a subscription after the trial, paid features and dashboard access may be disabled. Trial data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Starter is $9/month billed yearly or $18 month-to-month. Growth is $39/month billed yearly or $78 month-to-month.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew for the billing period selected at checkout until canceled. Before purchase, we show the renewal period, price, cancellation method, and other material terms. Taxes may be added where required. The terms and total displayed at checkout control your purchase.
You may cancel online through the account controls available to you or by emailing support@menu.ceo. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you may continue using paid features until then.
You may request a refund within 7 days after a charge by contacting support. Refunds required by applicable law are not limited by this policy.
Stripe processes payments. We do not store full payment-card details, and your payment is also subject to Stripe's applicable terms and policies.
4. Analytics Events, Usage, and Plan Limits
An analytics "event" is a data point recorded by the Service for a hosted menu, such as a menu pageview, referral, campaign visit, or supported interaction. Events from every menu connected to your account are aggregated during each monthly usage cycle, including when your subscription is billed yearly.
Starter currently includes up to 1 million analytics events per month. Growth currently includes up to 5 million analytics events per month. Current limits are also displayed on the pricing page and at checkout.
If your usage approaches or exceeds a plan limit, we may notify you, limit access to affected analytics features, or require an upgrade. We will not add an overage charge without disclosing the charge and obtaining any consent required by law. Usage limits may change for a future billing period after notice.
5. Menus and Plan Features
Starter includes 1 restaurant menu, 1 team member, 1M analytics events per month, a memorable mn.ink short link, and a 3-year analytics history.
Growth includes up to 10 restaurant menus, unlimited team members, 5M analytics events per month, custom-domain support, a 5-year analytics history, and priority support.
You may need to upgrade if you reach the menu, team-member, analytics, storage, or other limit for your plan. If you downgrade, features or historical data outside the new plan's limits may become unavailable after the current billing period.
Features may be improved, replaced, or discontinued. We will provide notice when a material change affects an active paid subscription and notice is required by law.
6. Data Collection, Cookies, and Privacy
We process account details, restaurant and menu content, service usage, and hosted-menu analytics to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for more information.
When Menu.ceo processes menu-visitor personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Agreementapplies. You are responsible for providing any notices, obtaining any consent, and establishing any lawful basis required for analytics or other data collection on your published menu.
We do not sell customer menu content or hosted-menu analytics data. Authorized personnel may access limited information when reasonably necessary to provide support, investigate abuse, maintain security, or comply with law.
7. Content, Acceptable Use, and Service Terms
You retain ownership of menu images, text, business details, and other content you submit. You grant Menu.ceo a limited license to host, process, transform, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to provide and operate the Service.
You must have the rights needed to submit your content. You are responsible for reviewing AI-assisted output and keeping menu names, prices, ingredients, allergens, availability, and other published information accurate.
You may not use the Service to:
- Violate law or another person's rights
- Publish deceptive, harmful, or infringing content
- Distribute malware, spam, or phishing material
- Access accounts, systems, or data without permission
- Interfere with security, availability, or normal operation
The Service may rely on third-party providers for payments, hosting, security, email, analytics, and AI processing. Their services may be governed by separate terms.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid Menu.ceo during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, a material breach, unlawful use, fraud, or a security risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. After access ends, data is handled under our Privacy Policy and DPA.
8. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms with a new "Last updated" date and, when required, provide additional notice by email or through the Service.
Material changes apply prospectively. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms means you accept them, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in a state or federal court located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to support@menu.ceo.
